See images below, this is a concrete water storage tank in Tianyar,Bali, a typical water tank which people drink and bath from throughout the region. It almost looks like a dark green tea. Looking to help people get clean water in this region. Let me know if you are interested to help, water filters or any other water solutions are welcome.
During our stay in Buluh, Tianyar we came across this Cashew Processing facility, East Bali Cashew Company. They did a great job bringing jobs and providing day care for the community. This region of Bali is extremely dry and not too many crops grow here, however it is prime growing for Cashews. We were going to bring some back to the USA, but ate all of them before we got to the airport, they were that good. Trying to see if we can import some to Southern California to help the community.
It’s been two years since my family and I have been in Bali, we are thrilled and apprehensive about making the journey with our three children, ages 2, 3 and 6 years young. It’s about 24 hours of flying and hope all will be smooth. We are looking forward to re-kindling the project and bringing the focus back to the children and community.
